STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATIONS ON THE DRAFT LANDS BILL

DRAFT LANDS BILL 2016.

The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has prepared a Draft Land Bill for extensive stakeholder consultations to solicit the views of the general public.

The objective of the Land Bill is to revise and consolidate the laws on land, with the view to harmonizing those laws to ensure sustainable land administration and management, effective land tenure and efficient surveying and mapping regimes and to provide for related matters.

The Ministry now invites comments from the General Public to be incorporated into the Final Draft of the Land Bill.
