Level of expertise required for this Chapter: Expert at HQ; specifically for LUPMIS @ TCPD
- - - - -
Technical Note 1: Mandatory entry fields for reports are type (mainly, 8 for reports), District / Region code (or blank for Ghana), source, year, pages, original and LUPMIS computer format, geographical extension (in UTM coordinates, read from GIS), full file name (incl extension), folder name inside C:\LUPMIS\LUPMISReports (use /, not \ as folder separator).
Technical Note 2: Entry in 'key words' is strongly recommended. Multiple keywords can be entered, separated by spaces; keyword can't include space(s).
Technical Note 3: Import of reports metadata is also possible from a CSV file ('Import'). CSV specifications are explained on-screen.
Technical Note 4: Orthophotomaps, satellite images and topographic sheets also form part of this metadatabase. Index is created through the 'Index photos/topos' Tools, and then imported to this Reports Database. If photos etc are located on an external server, follow the instructions under 'Import'.
Technical Note 5: Transfer from HQ to LUPMIS installation servers/work stations is carried out through 'Transfer'. This creates file 'Backup_Metadata.sql' (also containing the Project Database), which will be on the LUPMIS installation file or can be copied manually to the folder C:\xampp\mysql\data\metadata\ of the target installation.
