Example 1 in words: The orthophotomap is located with its SW corner at coordinates 768000 / 603000 (in UTM). It has a width of 2 km (i.e. 768000 - 770000), and a height of 1 km (i.e.603000 - 604000). Each pixel has a size of 40 cm.

Example 1 in words: The topo map is located with its SW corner at approximate coordinates 777000 / 609000 (in UTM). It has a width of approximately 28 km (i.e. 777000 - 805000), and a height of approximately 28 km (i.e. 609000 - 637000). As hardcopy map, it had a scale of 1:50,00, and was indexed as map 0501B3 in the previous national system. It is located in/around Kasoa.
See also part F of Annex 1.2.
The 'Photo/topo coverage' Drawing Tool also explains the raster file syntax.
For an archive of raster maps in the local installation it is also recommended to have following files:
(district) _ images/photos _ year _ indexcoverage _ size.dra
(district) _ images/photos _ year _ coverage.dra
(district) _ images/photos _ year _ index _ size.dra
Whenever you add raster maps (orthophotomaps, satellite images, topo maps), you should run the 'Index photos/topo' Printing Tool of LUPMIS (see Chapter 8.3.9), which creates two index files.

C) Internet files:
Maps can be uploaded to a GIS web server to be accessible on the Internet. They are KML files, generated through the 'Export to Google/kml/osm' Printing Tool, and have following syntax:

|
(local plan).kmz |
Local Planfor internet display |
Papaase_2.kmz |

(local plan)_status.kmz |
Permit status for internet display |
