8.2.2b SubUPN
Level of expertise required for this Chapter: Expert
UPN refer to parcels (or mapping units), not necessarily to properties. If more than one property is located in a parcel (e.g. on multi-storey, apartment buildings or multiple buildings on 1 parcel, as in the example below), SubUPN will be assigned, which is the UPN code of the parcel plus 1 or 2 or 3 letters (e.g. 678-0789-1234B).
Remember: A property number with a - (minus) indicates a 'normal' parcel, not a SubUPN. E.g. 23-1 High Str is an addres of a parcel, not of a SubUPN.
All LUPMIS display and reports can handle UPN, SubUPN (wherever necessary) and streetname/property number (if requested):
